I had been struggling with addiction for years and had been in and out of inpatient centers and never had luck sustaining my recovery. It wasn’t until I attended an outpatient program here where I could actually string days together. I met a lot of great people whether fellow clients or clinicians and created a sober network, I learned skills that I still use today, and created a new life for myself. I am approaching 3 years of sobriety soon and can say attending Brook Recovery had a lot to do with my recovery, I finally had to learn to be accountable and change my way of thinking to get sober.

I couldn't put my life on hold to go to rehab because I was a full-time student. But I had flexibility with Brook's outpatient rehab program without reducing the expected level of care. Because Brook Recovery provided more than just detox, I decided to use them as my addiction treatment facility. Their facility is up to date and there they worked on my mental health, supported me in developing coping mechanisms, and even included my family in the process of recovery. As someone living in MA, I searched for a trustworthy rehab center in Massachusetts and found Brook Recovery. Their staff truly took note of my alcohol use. Their facility was up to date as well. Regaining self-worth was far more important than simply recovering for me , they helped me in boosting my self-esteem and healing. The staff at BRC are truly exceptional. Seth and Connor have done an amazing job managing the facility and guiding clients & staff. I attended Brooks IOP program for a few months. The groups were led by very professional and knowledgeable clinicians. The subjects we discussed during the groups were well thought out. I learned so much about recovery and left the groups having gained some form of knowledge. Everyone that worked there made me feel genuinely cared for. My daughter has been in and out of rehab all over New England for the better of the last 15 years. She most recently attended Day Treatment at Brook Recovery and this program is by far the best. The level of care and professionalism displayed from the staff and admin at Brook is unlike any I have ever seen. Highly recommend.

Brook helped me out immensely. The staff, and fellow addicts there, were great and supportive. Having been down the road of recovery in the past, I knew what I needed to do. Brook helped me to find my passion for recovery again, and I’m happy to say I’m coming up on 15 months clean. I was in the program for just over 40 days and within the first few days I felt like I had known most of the staff my entire life. They are friendly, compassionate, and never look or speak down to you. Some may find the relaxed atmosphere as an issue, however, I think it makes for a less stressful experience. They do have rules and guidelines that they will enforce if need be. Overall my time there allowed me to understand why I did things in the past, why they didn't work as well as leading me back to my "higher power " which for me is God.

Brooke Recovery really helped my sobriety by going through the 12 steps . They directed me to a great sponsor who helped me through the work . The groups helped me to open up with past trauma and coping skills to get through daily life sober . As you stick through the program people really become like family . I am so grateful for the experience I had with this program and the recovery I have today !

Thank you for probably saving my daughter’s life. She really did not want to go here but soon began to look forward to what she called “going to school”. She is leaving the program this week and will miss everyone so much. What a change! I met with her counselor at one point and was encouraged to ask questions and speak openly. As a mom, I can’t thank you enough for the life changing work that you do. I have my beautiful daughter back! I will highly recommend Brook to anyone struggling with substance abuse.
